Our funeral directors are highly trained in carriage driving and have beautiful, paired horses and a choice of vintage carriages to choose from. We offer a beautiful selection of traditional horse-drawn hearses including classic Victorian style horse-drawn funeral carriages in either white or black. If you prefer, we can also provide a rustic dray wagon pulled by a single horse.
A horse-drawn funeral hearse is a perfect option if you are planning a meaningful funeral procession with grandeur and style.
The hearse can be dressed according to your wishes from a choice of traditional drapes. It can also be adorned with wreaths and floral decorations in the colour of your choice.
The funeral hearse carriage will be drawn by either classic black Friesian or white carriage horses. Traditional hearses are drawn by pairs of either two, four or six, while the dray is pulled by a single horse. Horses can also wear feathered head plumes that match the colour theme you have chosen.
Our coachmen will be appropriately dressed for the occasion in traditional attire of either morning suits or cloaks, hats and tails.
You can plan a funeral procession to pass specific landmarks that are sentimental to your loved one. Please speak to us about your preferred route. Please be aware that the horses can cover a maximum of five miles.
