In most cases, as long as the death wasn’t sudden, unexpected or due to unnatural causes, you can call us as soon as the attending doctor has issued the Medical Cause of Death Certificate. View our advice on what to do when someone dies for further information.

To register the death, you need to contact the registry office. This should be done within 5 days in England or Wales. It can be quicker to register the death at the registry office in the area where the death occurred, although now you can register a death at any register office in England and Wales.

We provide a range of services including direct cremation which is the most affordable service on offer. We aim to tailor our services to keep within your budget. If you are struggling financially, then you may be able to apply for help with funeral expenses through the government.

In most cases, yes. Only in extreme circumstances may this not be necessary. Appointing a funeral director ensures that your loved one is taken to the funeral home and is properly cared for leading up to the burial or cremation. They help to arrange all the details, liaise with third parties, arrange the payment of disbursements and organise the cremation or burial, and funeral ceremony, all on your behalf.

No, funeral cars are optional. A hearse is included in all our services except the direct cremation where a private ambulance will be used.

We will never pressure you into buying a plan, just give you all the information so you can make an informed decision.
